2026 CWU Move-In Welcome Guide

Moving In When you arrive on campus, you'll be directed to an unloading zone. While we will have some move-in carts available on a first-come-first-serve basis, we strongly encourage you to bring your own hand truck or wagon to assist you in moving your items. Our move-in day volunteers, the CWU Movers and Shakers, will be available to assist with unloading during scheduled move-in times for first-year students on Thursday and Friday. ____________________________________________________ Shipping and Packing You can ship packages to CWU before move-in. Plan to have packages delivered no sooner than September ‡, ˆ‰ˆ6. Packages shipped prior to move-in are available for pickup from September ‡” to September ‡•, ˆ‰ˆŠ, at the Residence Life Office package pickup window between ‡‰ a.m. and — p.m. Regular package pickup begins September ˆ‡, ˆ‰ˆŠ, from ˜ p.m. to • p.m. Check your CWU email for delivery notices or contact the Residence Life Package Room at ResLife.Delivery@cwu.edu or —‰š-šŠ˜-‡˜ˆ˜ with questions. One Vehicle Per Student Only one vehicle per student is allowed through the move-in route. Additional vehicles can park in nearby campus lots. For campus parking Label all boxes, bags, and items with your name, residence hall, and room number. This will help ensure that any misplaced items are returned to you during move-in. No Pets Please leave your pets at home. The traffic and activity of move-in day can be dangerous for family pets, and the weather is often too hot for leaving an animal in your car while moving. Other than fish, pets are not allowed in the residence halls. information, visit cwu.edu/parking. Label Your Belongings
