PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS HGAGBuy is a nationwide, government procurement service striving to make the governmental procurement process more efficient. Units of local government, including non-profits providing governmental services, are eligible to become participating members of the HGACBuy Cooperative. All contracts available to participating members have been awarded by virtue of a public competitive procurement process compliant with state statutes. Procurement programs create a legal pathway to purchasing recreational products in a manner that saves time and money for the member. There are many government entities that can purchase through procurement programs: • Municipalities, cities, counties, state agencies • K-12 schools, school districts, colleges, universities • Councils of government • Hospitals and hospital districts
• Emergency medical services and service districts • Volunteer fire departments and rural fire prevention districts • Special law enforcement jurisdictions • Judicial courts and districts • Emergency communications districts • Utility Districts (MUDs, WCIDs, irrigation, etc.) • Authorities (airport, port, river, water, toll road, etc.) • Non profit corporations [501(c)(3)] providing government functions & services SUPERIOR DISCOUNT Superior holds awarded contracts that are renewed annually through HGAC. Members receive a 12% discount off of MSRP. Members can purchase steel and recycled playground equipment, shade, and site amenities. Installation services are also available. Shelters are not available for purchase on this contract. Custom items are permitted, but cannot exceed 25% of the total product value of the purchase order.
