Der Sessel Tivoli hat eine Form, die mit Holz bisher nur schwer herzustellen war. Der Sessel Tivoli besteht allerdings aus Resysta, einemnachhaltigenMaterial, das zu ca. 60%aus Reishülsen besteht und darüber hinaus 100%witterungsbeständig und thermoverformbar ist. DieseThermo- verformbarkeit macht es möglich, dass die Sitzschale mit ihren vielen verschiedenen Biegungen in einem Produktionsprozess hergestellt wird. Die Sitzschale passt sich der individuellen Kör- perform an, gibt etwas nach und bietet dadurch einen hervorragenden Sitzkomfort.
MBM Tivoli - Seat Shell Design of a New Dimension
The shape of the Tivoli arm chair was previously difficult to produce with wood. The Tivoli arm chair, however, consists of Resysta, a sustainable material that contains about 60% rice husks and is 100% weather-resistant and thermoformable. Thermo moldability enables manufacturing of the seat shell, with its many different bends, in one production process - welds or other joints are a thing of the past. The seat shell adapts to the individual body shape, gives way a little and thus offers excellent seating comfort.
