Another year is approaching its conclusion, but before we embark on a well-deserved Christmas vacation, let’s take a moment to look back on the year that has passed. 2023 has, in many ways, been a challen- ging and dynamic year, marked by increa- sed competition, lower activity, and difficult conditions in the construction industry. De- spite these challenges, we have managed to end the year with positive results. During 2023, we also made the necessary decision to relocate production from Lem to our factory in Poland. Although it was not an easy decision, it has proven to be a cru- cial measure. Our unique position with facade production, along with colleagues in design and estima- tion in Poland, shared among several Han- sen companies, significantly differentiates us from local competitors.
We continue to streamline our processes through digitization to achieve optimal ef- ficiency and promote cross-organizational and global collaboration to maintain our leading position and increase earnings. At the same time, we have entered into an exciting external collaboration on pro- file systems, which has given us a broader product range and a standard assortment of glass/aluminum facades, as well as windows and doors. However, we continue to offer our unique HansenMillennium and Hansen UnitAl pro- ducts to our customers. We have also gained momentum in our Supply Only, and our focus on a new form of turnkey contracts has borne fruit with joint efforts from all employees. Even with the challenging circumstances, we look forward to the coming year with
optimism, especially due to the positive ef- fects our new initiatives have already had. We have several exciting projects in the pi- peline. This is due in no small part to your loyalty, team spirit, and ability to adapt to necessa- ry changes. We would like to thank you for your signifi - cant collective effort in the past year. We wish you and your families a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
