Fruit
Fertilizer
Growing them indoors with the heating on all winter will weaken them, so if you want to enjoy them, keep them indoors for about a week, and grow them in an environment similar to outdoors the rest of the time. Alternatively, if you keep them in a cold, unheated room, they will survive the winter healthily, and the flowers that bloom will last a long time and be beautiful. The recommended watering time is once a day in spring and autumn, twice a day in the morning and evening in summer, and once every two to three days in winter. Once the flowers bloom, the plant will begin to water rapidly and dry out easily, so be careful not to let it run out of water. Watering the leaves during hot or dry seasons is effective in preventing the leaves from drying out and maintaining their health. Water the leaves in the morning or evening using a spray bottle or watering can.
Placement
Watering
Apply liquid fertilizer approximately once a week from June to July and from October to November.
Fertilizer
Aphids, scale insects, and leafrollers may appear. Also, be careful of powdery mildew during hot and humid periods such as the rainy season. Spraying sulfur compounds or machine oil during the winter will significantly reduce pest damage from spring onwards.
Pests & Diseases
A mixture of Akadama soil and Kanuma soil. "Ishikibana soil" is suitable.
