When qst re riding, rdr std his intention was to ride mnt with cover, however in the early stages it could not hold a trailing position when pace increased leaving 1000m, and as a consequence another rnr was able to take up that position causing his mnt to settle further back. Added mnt was held up in the straight, and near the 350m he had to take hold to avoid heels at which point it became unbalanced and lost ground before he was able to recommence riding it near the 250m whereby mnt ran home strongly. 17/10/2020 Royal Randwick From a wide barrier was shifted behind rnrs in the early stages. Post race vet exam revealed horse to have sustained a small abrasion to near hind leg. 24/10/2020 The Valley Rider reported mount was not comfortable in today’s soft track conditions.
