HERE’S HOW YOU CAN BRING IT BACK TO LIFE MARKETING STRATEGY NOT GOING AS PLANNED? Marketing isn’t easy, and despite spending countless hours and resources crafting a marketing strategy, it can still fall flat. The definition of a “failed” marketing campaign is undoubtedly subjective, but if you see that there’s been no significant impact and your ROI isn’t cutting it, then it’s time to get back to the basics. THINK LIKE A CUSTOMER. Your campaign may have seemed bulletproof initially, but if you see less than great results, it’s time to think less like a business owner and more like a customer. As a customer, consider what issues may have caused you to react negatively, or not at all, to this marketing strategy. Was the targeted audience too broad? Was the messaging not powerful enough? Consider specifying your target demographic and redirecting your message to fit that audience. MAKE IT MEMORABLE. Thanks to social media, consumers are constantly bombarded with ads and offers from countless companies vying for their business. This means your marketing may have gotten lost in the noise by failing to stand out and grab someone’s attention. So, check if your campaign is similar to others that launched around the same time.
You may need to return to the planning phase to differentiate your message from your competitors.
AMP UP THE OFFER. Gifts, special sales, discounts, and other incentives are some of the reasons a potential customer will engage with your business, but if the offer isn’t valuable enough, they will ignore it. Whatever desired action you want your clientele to take, you need to ensure they’re receiving enough in return. EVOLVE AND ADAPT! If none of these approaches work for you, start fresh. Take a new route and use the new information you’ve learned after evaluating your strategy’s results. Don’t consider this marketing strategy a failure but a learning experience that will help you build more effective campaigns in the future. Learn from your mistakes, and you can come back stronger and better than ever!
KNOW THE LAW! HOW AND WHEN TO SHARE THE ROAD WITH EMERGENCY VEHICLES
You’re driving along on the highway on your way to work when you see flashing lights approaching in your rearview mirror. What do you do? It’s important to remember that the flashing emergency lights don’t always mean that you or another motorist is being pulled over. Sometimes the lights mean a police officer is attempting to safely and quickly get to an emergency or car crash, or it’s an ambulance or fire truck trying to pass. According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), more officers die from traffic-related incidents than any other on-duty accident, and sometimes this is the result of improper and illegal passing of emergency vehicles or any authorized vehicle belonging to state, federal, or local emergency service agencies.
Here are some Georgia laws to follow when it comes to emergency vehicles.
• If it is not safe to make the above lane change, reduce your speed to a reasonable speed (below the speed limit) while passing. Be prepared to stop. It should be noted that drivers who do not follow these laws will be cited by other officers who are not responding to emergency calls and observe the infraction. Punishments for Illegally passing an emergency vehicle can include fines and possible points added to your driving record. There are a number of possible defenses for being charged with illegally passing an emergency vehicle and that’s where we come in! If you’ve been charged with this or another driving infraction, give us a call today! Our experienced professionals are ready to help!
If you are approached by an emergency vehicle displaying its flashing lights:
• Yield the right of way and immediately move to a position parallel to the right- hand edge of the road • Do not stop in an intersection • Remain in this stopped position until the police officer makes contact with you or passes
If a stationary emergency vehicle displays its lights:
• Make a lane change into a lane not adjacent to the stopped emergency vehicle

LAUGH IT OFF
If you’ve been convicted of driving under the influence (DUI) at least twice in the past decade, it’s important to know that the third time you are convicted, the repercussions become much more serious. A third conviction could mean that you permanently lose your license or serve a lot of jail time. In the state of Georgia, if you are convicted of DUI twice, the first two charges are counted as misdemeanors. The third charge will also be considered a misdemeanor but is classified as “high and aggravated,” meaning that the state will impose the strictest penalties that it can for a non-felony case. Any time anyone in Georgia is arrested for a DUI, the state will look back at the offender’s record to see how many times they were convicted of a DUI in the past decade. If this happens to be the third strike, the offender will likely: IS A 3RD DUI CONVICTION A FELONY?

Travel Like a Pro With TSA PreCheck
DON’T REMOVE YOUR SHOES
REDUCE PRE-FLIGHT WAIT WITH TSA PRECHECK
When you arrive at the airport, you likely feel resigned to the hassle of waiting in a long security line and taking off your shoes. But did you know there’s an elite flight club full of people who don’t need to go through that routine? They have that privilege because TSA PreCheck has confirmed they aren’t a security threat. Best of all, the program is inexpensive and easy to join. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) began the TSA PreCheck program in 2013 to improve frequent flyers’ experience. TSA performs an enhanced security screening on applicants and issues those who pass muster a Known Traveler Number (KTN) that entitles them to fewer security checks at the airport. A TSA PreCheck registration, however, won’t let you waltz straight from the parking lot to your plane. Members must still walk through a metal detector and allow the TSA to X-ray carry-on items. But people with TSA PreCheck can bypass the full body scan or pat down. They also keep their shoes and belts on while leaving laptops and appropriately sized liquids in their carry-on bags. Finally, PreCheck
passengers have a designated security line where, in March 2021, TSA reported the average wait was only 5 minutes.
The vast majority of airlines and airports operating in the U.S. accept TSA PreCheck, and you can apply with an online application. You must finish registration and submit fingerprints at an in-person enrollment center, but most appointments take about 10 minutes. Five years of enrollment costs $78. At that price, even those who only book one round-trip flight a year might decide to avoid the typical security hassle. Further, many credit cards will reimburse the cost. TSA PreCheck isn’t the only method on the market. Nexus is another domestic security program, and Global Entry allows expedited processing through customs and immigration when returning to the U.S. on international flights. Which service best meets your needs depends on your travel habits. But if you fly regularly, these programs are almost certainly worth your time and money. Don’t get left behind — consider enrolling before your next trip!
