There’s nothing quite like stepping into Flemington’s revered Members Enclosure as a fresh new Cup Week celebration kicks off. Enclosed in this Guide is all the detail you will need for planning your 2023 Melbourne Cup Carnival. The hardest decision will be where to go and what to do for each of the days during Cup Week. Planning to scan in and make your own magic? Keep a look out for the No Booking Required symbol throughout - from traditional favourites to brand new experiences for young and old, there are so many fabulous options available, all you have to do is scan in to the members enclosure using your membership card and join the party. This year, that includes all the retail spaces in both The Club Stand and The Grandstand, plus the general access areas in The Birdcage, The Nursery, The Rails Promenade, and the Birdbath Bar. Want the magic ready and waiting? If ensuring your favourite spot is there, ready and waiting, then a ticket to dining in one of your favourite venues or trying the exclusive member dining offering in The Birdcage might be just the thing. We also have some corporate hospitality venues available at member prices – for members wanting something a little different in 2023. The time honoured tradition of hosting a site in The Rails Promenade or The Nursery, or reserving your own seat in the stands to watch the races and soak in the crowd is also ready and waiting. Keep a look out for the Dining Tickets, The Peak Tickets, Members Reserved Seating, Nursery Site, Nursery Super Site and Rails Site buttons throughout this guide, they denote the venues and locations that require bookings. In 2023, VRC Members can purchase Members Enclosure Daily Guest Tickets which provide entry into Flemington plus access to all areas of the Members Enclosure (except Members Bar), including The Nursery, The Birdcage and The Rails Promenade.
