Le Club Richelieu de Cornwall a organisé son 20 e tournoi de golf et souper de homards à volonté, le 3 juin dernier, au club de golf Summerheights. En tout, 92 participants ont pris part à l’événement qui s’est déroulé sous un ciel bleu presque sans nuage. Établi à Cornwall depuis plus de 68 ans, le club compte 24 membres actifs. Depuis 2008, le club a remis 79 385,20 $ à la jeunesse des environs. Plans are beginning to shape up for the new splash pad in Riverdale Park. The splash pad – the third such facility in Cornwall – will be located east of the existing playground structure. The facility should be operational by mid-August. At the May 24 City council meeting, Council awarded the construction tender to Grant Marion Construction of Cornwall. Construction fencing should be installed this week. Work on the electrical components should also begin this week. — supplied photo
