While the regular fall season is open from Sept. 30–Oct. 29, you’ll want to attend their Pumpkin Festival, Oct. 28–29! The festival will feature live music, pumpkin pie, and more. DIRECTIONS
1/2 cup buttermilk 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp vanilla extract
1. Bring margarine, water, and cocoa powder to a boil. 2. Mix flour and sugar together and pour margarine mixture over. 3. Add buttermilk, baking soda, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and eggs, and stir. 4. Pour mixture into a jelly roll pan and bake at 375 F for 20 minutes. 5. For the frosting: Heat margarine, cocoa powder, and milk. Remove from heat and add powdered sugar, nuts, and vanilla extract. 6. Spread frosting on hot cake and enjoy!
