MATT @MATTKIROUACYORK A perfect day in OKC, for me, starts with a leisurely breakfast
at 30th Street Market, sipping locally roasted coffee on the dog-friendly patio with one of their irresistible house-made granola bars (or one of their pastry specials, like a piña colada bar). From there, I’d go for a sunny walk along the Bricktown Canal, before finding a shaded spot in Myriad Gardens to read a book (likely from Commonplace Books or Full Circle). For lunch, I’d pop into Empire Slice House for one of their slices of the day, then shop for vintage swag at Bad Granny’s Bazaar or Magoo’s Attic. Later, my favorite spot for date night is sitting at the bar — and sharing a flatbread — with my husband at Stella. And if we timed it right, we’d catch sunset (and live music) across the street from the roof at O Bar.
JESSICA & ISMAIL @MYCURLYADVENTURES_ & @MYCULINARYADVENTURES_ Our day in OKC begins with a
delicious breakfast at Scrambl’d, where you can enjoy a Luther Burger, which is a cheeseburger on donuts, or fluffy pancakes with an espresso martini. After fueling up, we’d head to Ski OKC at RIVERSPORT for a unique indoor skiing adventure—I never thought I would go skiing in OKC of all places! For lunch, spice things up at Naija Wife Kitchen inside a small food hall. They are serving big flavors like jollof rice, pepper soup and suya that transport your taste buds straight to Nigeria. Post-lunch, we’d stroll through the beautifully blooming Myriad Botanical Gardens. As evening approaches, we would catch a stunning sunset from the Wheeler Ferris Wheel and enjoy the breathtaking city views. Finally, we’d wrap up our day with a romantic dinner at Grey Sweater, where you can delight in a tiered tasting menu paired with exquisite wines or craft cocktails.
