2025 Official OKC Visitors Guide

ON THE RISE OKC enjoys several other noteworthy neighborhoods undergoing revitalization and development into locally loved areas that may offer just the experience you’re looking to explore.

BRITTON DISTRICT The Britton District is one of OKC’s latest areas being revived by a group of business owners and passionate

neighbors working to preserve a stretch of Britton Road along historic Route 66. This area boasts vibrant murals, vintage boutiques and live music. Not to mention tasty eats ranging from coffee, beer and even a distillery to Southwest cuisine and more.

CALLE DOS CINCO IN HISTORIC CAPITOL HILL Established before Oklahoma

statehood, Calle Dos Cinco in Historic Capitol Hill on SW 25th Street offers historic architecture and is a hub for OKC’s Hispanic and Latino community. Just south of downtown, it features dining, local shopping, live music at Resonant Head and the award-winning Fiestas de las Americas. Several revitalization projects are underway, including construction of a new Festival Plaza for community and cultural celebrations.

EAST END DISTRICT The East End District in northeast OKC is undergoing vibrant

redevelopment, preserving African American art and culture. Its expanding food scene includes Florence’s Restaurant, the state’s first James Beard Award winner, along with Polk House and Scrambl’d. Visitors can enjoy street festivals like Juneteenth on the East or Homecoming Weekend, and explore local retail offerings.
