inclusion and artistry of the city. CHUCK WAGON FESTIVAL
Throw on your cowboy boots and head over to the annual Chuck Wagon Festival at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. This two- day event is a family favorite. With a unique lineup of traditional cowboy food, live entertainment and engaging activities, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Kids will especially love the petting zoo, archery and rope-making demonstrations. OKLAHOMA REGATTA FESTIVAL Make a splash at the Oklahoma Regatta Festival. The three-day RIVERSPORT event is filled with family fun, food trucks, fireworks and more. Whether you’re racing down the Oklahoma River or watching from the sidelines, you’re sure to experience the inevitable rush of adrenaline that always accompanies lively competition. AN AFFAIR OF THE HEART Get ready for three days of non-stop shopping and fun at An Affair of the Heart. This annual event occurs twice a year, so you never have to worry about missing out. An Affair of the Heart is the largest arts, crafts and boutiques show in Oklahoma. Both local and non-local vendors set up booths throughout the venue filled with unique, and often handmade, merchandise.

OKLAHOMA STATE FAIR If you find yourself in Oklahoma City in September, the Oklahoma State Fair is a must-do (and must- eat) event. From family entertainment, horse shows and educational exhibits to all the delicious fried treats in between, enjoy this “best of the best” showcase of our state’s agriculture, manufacturing and commerce at the OKC Fairgrounds. FIESTAS DE LAS AMERICAS The Fiestas de las Americas Parade and Street Festival brings the community together to embrace Hispanic culture. Every year, Calle Dos Cinco in Historic Capitol Hill is filled with beautiful art, Latin American cuisine and artisan pop-up shops. Cultural clubs, organizations and businesses throughout the OKC metro are invited to participate in the Hispanic Heritage Month celebration. STOCKYARDS STAMPEDE Celebrate Western heritage like a local at the Stockyards Stampede. This annual event kicks off each year with a “stampede” of Oklahoma Longhorn Streer and is followed by an authentic Chuck Wagon camp. Guests can anticipate traditional foods, live music, a petting zoo and other Western activities. JUNETEENTH ON THE EAST Experience Juneteenth on the East in OKC’s East End District with a stacked lineup of incredible activities. This annual, family friendly event commemorates the end of slavery in the U.S. nearly 200 years ago. Join as the community gathers in celebration with food trucks, live music, dancing, a 5k and more.
