WELCOME FROM OUTFRONT CATTLE SERVICE Welcome to the 26th Annual Sale of Excellence! We have another outstanding set of prominent Charolais genetics for your evaluation! Some of the top bloodlines in the breed are represented in this offering. There is something for everyone, from show heifers, pairs, bred cows and heifers, and select open heifers of many different lines. Some spectacular cow families are available if you are looking for some elite genetics. There are some fancy ET heifers from leading sires and named recognition donor cows so you can obtain sisters for uniformity in your herds and yet have some diversity through the sire lines. The “Pick of DeBruyckers” is being offered again and how interesting it has been the influence of that pick on the sale offerings over the years! It has certainly worked to enhance the quality of offerings. We have a super strong set of Pairs this year and some very interesting “splits” that will happen. The donor prospects are rich in number and quality, from leading genetics, including some very proven lines of Fink, which were direct links to some of the cattle they sold as “Picks” in previous sales here!
Few sales have lasted continuously as long as the Sale of Excellence. I think that is due to the quality of cattle presented, the quality of breeders who are fair in their dealings, and the effort they put forth to make this a magnificent event! The fun auction plays a role, that great friendships that have developed over the years, and the event is more than a cow sale, it is entertainment in a comfortable, family-oriented setting! It’s just an enjoyable thing to do! This year we are also featuring an 1893 Chuckwagon catering service that will be serving cowboy-style cooking that is fantastic for our sale day meal. They were recently filmed for a featured German television morning show in Germany! Congratulations to RTS Catering!
