NI FIRE & RESCUE SERVICE LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT COLLEGE, COOKSTOWN
DELIVERING A HIGH-QUALITY INSTALLATION & SEAMLESS FINISH, NORTH WEST DRY LINING IS PROUD OF THIS LANDMARK PROJECT CREATING THE FIRST MAJOR FIRE & RESCUE TRAINING CENTRE IN IRELAND… DRYLINING
A partition, ceiling and firestopping package was supplied by North West Dry Lining Ltd (NWDL) for the new NI Fire & Rescue Service Learning & Development College in Cookstown. Its involvement included erecting SFS external walls, British Gypsum internal metal stud partitions, cavity insulations, and various plasterboard linings with standard, moisture, impact, sound and fire-resistant qualities. Also included were taping and jointing for a seamless finish and sealing with primer to leave a top-standard finish for the painting contractor. NWDL installed all suspended ceiling systems, providing numerous detailed layouts with ceiling tiles of various designs. Hilti products were used to fireproof all areas of its work, including acoustic and air integrity sealing, cavity barriers, firestopping and providing certification on completion. Geraldine O’Hara, Director, said, “This is
a very high profile and landmark project, being the only Fire & Rescue Service major training centre in Ireland. We are delighted to have displayed our skills on this project, leaving us very proud to hold this in high esteem in our portfolio. “Throughout the years of working on numerous projects with Felix O’Hare & Co Ltd as the main contractor, we have maintained an excellent working relationship with this company.
