PROJECT PROFILE

PHOENIX INTEGRATED PRIMARY & NURSERY SCHOOL, COOKSTOWN

SUSTAINABLE CYCLE SOLUTION Environmental Street Furniture Ltd (ESF) supplied its popular Wardale Cycle Shelter, hot-dipped galvanised and RAL powder coated with matching colour, along with matching Sheffield Cycle Stands to Phoenix IPS. The local company’s best-selling and most versatile shelter, the Wardale is modular in design so it can be linked to create banks of shelters and endless possibilities. It can include swinging or sliding gates with a range of locking mechanisms available and can be retrofitted with extensions at a later date if required. Recommended by national cycling associations, the ESF Sheffield Cycle Stand’s tubular design allows bikes to be secured in a variety of ways. Perry McClenaghan, ESF Sales Administrator, said, “This addition ensures that students have a safe and convenient place to store their bikes during school hours, giving parents and staff peace of mind as well as encouraging this most sustainable form of transport. “Whether it’s rain or shine, this shelter ensures that the students’ bikes are protected and ready for the ride home, with the sturdy ESF stands keeping them secure throughout the day.”
