A NOTE FROM SYLVIA Autumn colors mark fall in Minnesota, and I find myself enjoying cool hikes along the Mississippi River and a few more evenings at home enjoying my favorite TPT shows. This month, I am looking forward to two brand new local arts and culture programs. TPT’s new season of STAGE gives you a front row seat and a backstage pass to performances by some of your favorite local musicians, who also introduce you to artists they want you to know. Recorded live at First Avenue’s legendary 7th St Entry, every episode includes stellar performances, personal insights from the musicians, and never-before- seen collaborations. STAGE premieres new episodes on Fridays from October 13 through November 17 at 8 p.m. on TPT 2. Art + Medicine: Disability, Culture and Creativity is a remarkable documentary produced in collaboration with the Center for the Art of Medicine at the University of Minnesota Medical School. This film aims to destigmatize disabilities through the power of storytelling, art, and performances. The premiere is October 29 at 6 p.m. on TPT 2. I am also thrilled to announce TPT's launch of NEXTGEN TV, which will allow TPT to deliver a more personalized and dynamic viewing experience that resonates with the modern needs of our audience.
