Twin Cities PBS (TPT) is bringing exciting new shows to your screens this month! Get ready for a new season of STAGE and the next installment of Art + Medicine . As part of TPT’s commitment to arts and culture programming, these shows explore creativity, and delve into the very heart of community, representation, and identity.

In addition to the broadcast series, a companion YouTube series, BackSTAGE , will be released on TPT’s YouTube channel Tuesdays from October 17 through November 21.

Set against the backdrop of the legendary 7th St Entry at First Avenue, each episode celebrates Minnesota’s vibrant music scene, delivering unforgettable performances and exclusive glimpses into the artists' lives and musical journeys.
Art + Medicine: Disability, Culture and Creativity
TPT is also proud to present the fourth installment of Art + Medicine , the award-winning collaboration with the Center for the Art of Medicine at the University of Minnesota Medical School. A one-hour documentary, Art + Medicine: Disability, Culture and Creativity exists at the crossroads of art, medicine, and the experiences of individuals with disabilities. The film aims to destigmatize disabilities through the power of storytelling, art, and performances. Mark your calendars for the premiere on October 29 at 6 p.m. on TPT 2. Hosted by Jessica Horvath Williams, Ph.D., storyteller and artist Kevin Kling, and Internal Medicine Doctor Tseganesh Selameab, the documentary showcases artists and healthcare clinicians collaborating to forge alternative viewpoints on disability through personal narratives and impactful performances. Valerie Shirley provides on-screen ASL interpretation for the film.
