In the context of Erasmus+ and research, on November 29th, at the Erasmus+ 2024 Infodays in Milan, an event organized by the National Agency INDIRE, Tor Vergata will present the international Master's program at the Department of Physics: MASS (Master in Astrophysics and Space Science), an Erasmus+ Joint Master Program coordinated by Prof Nicola Vittorio. The project has been funded for 6 years by the EU under the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master program. Internationalization at Home: An Erasmus Day to showcase "The Erasmus World of Tor Vergata".

Also, the University has won the Erasmus+ call for European Alliances (European Universities Initiative) for the second time with the UNIVERSEH 2.0 project, securing European funding of 14.2 million euros. The goal of UNIVERSEH 2.0 is to promote an innovative and multilingual research program based on collaboration, innovative pedagogical approaches, and cross- sectoral curricula to generate industrial growth and resolve key societal challenges, making the Space sector more sustainable and ensuring that the EU remains a global leader in the New Space domain.
