Not met

Demonstrates very little/no knowledge or understanding of how to celebrate, support and respect the diversity of learners and colleagues Demonstrates language or behaviour that excludes people with different identities and/or beliefs Lacks confidence in challenging behaviours from learners and/or peers that do not reflect the words and spirit of MHFA England’s equity and inclusion commitments

Celebrates diversity, and proactively supports equity and inclusion for learners and colleagues

Thorough approach to delivery preparation

Does not prepare effectively for course delivery

Demonstrates low levels of adaptability, preventing effective communication with different audiences

Good interpersonal and communication skills

Has delivered fewer than three courses using the Online Learning Hub Significant lapses in ability to manage learners and navigate course content in an online learning environment Inability to calmly manage unexpected technical issues and seek/signpost learners to further support where required Does not demonstrate ability or experience of dealing with challenging situations with learners or clients and/or Responds using negative language/behaviour

Sufficiently IT proficient to proactively manage learners, and problem solve technical issues experienced

Resilience and ability to deal with challenging and complex situations 

Experience of relevant sector (this criterion is amended depending which type of Associate Instructors we are recruiting for)

Does not have experience in the relevant sector(s)
