Day 5: Svolvær - Narvik Saying goodbye to Svolvær after breakfast, we set off on the return journey to the Norwegian mainland. The ice-free seaport of Narvik is located 250 miles north of the Arctic Circle and has lots of fascinating attractions, including the Red Cross War Memorial Museum, which documents the occupation of this vital Board the Ofoten Railway, one of the northernmost railways in the world. Cross into Sweden and continue through remote wilderness to Kiruna in Swedish Lapland. Day 7: Kiruna port in World War Two. Day 6: Narvik - Kiruna Experience the magic of Lapland. Visit the famous Ice Hotel and enjoy a cultural encounter with the Sámi people, learning about their traditions and meeting reindeer. Day 8: Kiruna After breakfast, look forward to an amazing excursion, a unique husky safari experience. With a pack of energetic huskies at the helm, steered by an expert guide, set out on a large sled through the snowy scenery. Day 9: Kiruna - UK Transfer to the airport for your return flight home, bringing your unforgettable Northern Lights adventure to a close.

Day 1: UK - Trondheim Fly to Oslo and transfer to Trondheim, the former Viking Capital for a two night stay. The rest of the day is free to relax or begin exploring. Day 2: Trondheim - Bodø Departing Trondheim, travel on the spectacular Nordland Railway across the Arctic Circle to Bodø. Pass frozen lakes, fjords and mountains, spotting wildlife on route. Skirting Skjerstad Fjord, arrive in this coastal city, with a chance to glimpse the Northern Lights. Day 3: Bodø - Svolvær Take a scenic coach journey, travelling from Bodø to Bognes.
