Day 4: Mijas Enjoy a relaxing day enjoying the facilities in your hotel at leisure or head out on an optional excursion to Granada to view the stunning renaissance architecture of the Alhambra Palace. Optional: Alhambra Palace excursion Day 5: Frigiliana - Nerja Begin your day exploring the hilltop village of Frigiliana in the foothills of the Almijara Mountains. Wind through the cobbled streets of the historic town, before continuing to the coastal destination of Nerja where you can bask in the white sandy beaches and explore the hidden coves. Roam through the old quarter of the former fishing village, enjoying the quiet charm of this hidden gem. Day 6: Mijas Explore at your own pace today, wandering the charming streets of Mijas. Learn about the history of the town, visiting the 16th century Shrine of Virgen de la Pena and the Church of San Sebastian. If you want to travel further afield, there’s also an optional excursion to Gibraltar. Optional: Gibraltar excursion Day 7: Mijas Enjoy another day at leisure, soaking up the sun on the hotel’s terrace or heading into Mijas to sample local cuisines in one of the many cafés or bars. In the evening, gather for a farewell dinner to celebrate the time you’ve spent together on this holiday. Day 8: Málaga - UK Transfer to the airport for your flight to return home.

Day 1: UK - Málaga Fly to Malaga before transferring to Mijas, a sunny Andalusian town nestled in the Sierra de Mijas mountains. Take some time to settle in and explore the white-washed village at your leisure, before enjoying a welcome drink. Day 2: Málaga Set off on an excursion to the cosmopolitan hub of Málaga, discovering the charm of the European city famed for being the birthplace of Picasso. On the shores of the Mediterranean, you’ll discover the history and culture of one of the oldest cities in the world, before sitting down to enjoy dinner at a local village restaurant in Mijas. Day 3: Ronda Take in the stunning views as you travel to Ronda, the clifftop town perched above El Tajo. Gaze down on the 600ft deep gorge and the River Guadalevin as you stand on the 18th century Puente Nuevo bridge, before exploring the old town of La Ciudad and the modern El Mercadilla.
