Meeting on Thursday lunchtimes, the WordSmiths writing group is open to all boys in Years 7-11 interested in developing their creative and journalistic writing. The WordSmiths’ work is published on an online blog. This year, the WordSmiths have travelled to the London School of Economics for a talk on political engagement in writing for young people and have had a masterclass in writing fiction from novelist Catherine Sampson, as well as attending a guided visit of Bell House, in Dulwich Village, which will lead to creative writing responses
