at home against Forest in the semi-finals of the London Cup. In my opinion, this was the best performance of the season for the 1st XI. We showed great resilience and never gave up until the final whistle, the game finishing 2-1 to Dulwich. We ended the season strongly, drawing two consecutive games against Westminster and KCS. We were, however, unlucky not to win both of them. We also reached the semi- final of the Trinity Cup, but unfortunately lost to Brighton in one of the few poor performances of the season. The final of the London Cup against Brentwood took place on a Thursday night at Beckenham FC. This game definitely topped the Forest match! It was a great team performance and we won 4-1 against a tough opposition with goals from James Blakemore, Boris Festa, Sidney Shepherd and Oscar Gleave securing the win. Such a first-class performance brought the perfect ending to a great season for the 1st XI, especially for those boys in Year 13. Many thanks go to the staff, friends and families who all came to support us for the final and helped make it such a good night for us boys. So this has been an incredible season for the 1st XI. Huge thanks go to our coaches Mr Whaymand and Mr Smith for being so supportive and giving up lots of their time to help us improve as a team. Thanks also to Mr Brown and Mr Greenaway for co-ordinating fixtures throughout the season and helping Football improve at Dulwich College. It has been an absolute honour to captain the 1st XI and I look forward to seeing how football progresses in the next few years at The College. Boys that have played in the 1st XI: Samuel Stopford, Paul Kottering, Michael Bacon, Oscar Gleave, James Blakemore, Josiah Price, Olly McNeil, Sidney Shepherd, Tommy Graham, Luke Henderson, Sam Fetherston, George Tribe, Philip Cloud, Boris Festa, Angus Wills, Nathan Emoike, Sherif Olanweraju, Max Edmund . Such a first-class performance brought the perfect ending to a great season for the 1st XI, especially for those boys in Year 13
