DAY 1 Juneau, Alaska Embarkation Welcome to Juneau! This week, you will explore remote wilderness areas that only the Safari Quest can reach. Depart in the evening toward Icy Strait. DAY 2 Icy Strait Explore remote bays by kayak or skiff, watch sea lions, or join a guided forest hike. Relax on board with views from the hot tub or a drink. DAY 3 Glacier Bay National Park Outer Bay Discover an area few have explored of this vast park, watching for wildlife including mountain goats, sea lions, puffins, bears, humpbacks, and possibly wolves. Enjoy kayaking adventures. DAY 4 Admiralty Island National Monument Kayak and skiff through secluded bays, spotting brown bears and bald eagles.
DAY 5 Frederick Sound Watch for humpback whales feeding, view Five Fingers Lighthouse, and learn the unique history. Look out for black oystercatchers. DAY 6 Windham Bay & Stephens Passage Adventure day! Kayak among marine life, hike through Tongass National Forest, or paddle deeper into wild inlets. DAY 7 Endicott Arm & Dawes Glacier Explore Endicott Arm by skiff, viewing harbor seals and spectacular Dawes Glacier. Celebrate your journey with a farewell dinner on board. DAY 8 Juneau, Alaska Disembarkation Enjoy a final breakfast on board before departing for the airport or continuing your Alaskan adventure.
