DAY 8 Disenchantment Bay Glaciers Experience the dynamic glacial landscape and witness the powerful calving of Hubbard Glacier, adjusting activities to ensure safe, comfortable exploration. DAY 9 Yakutat Town Immerse yourself in Yakutat’s fishing culture with optional world-renowned fishing (additional cost), meet locals, and enjoy the remote charm of this town situated between wild coast and dense rainforests. DAY 10 & 11 Lituya Bay If conditions allow, enter this legendary bay known for its 1958 mega tsunami, exploring Cenotaph Island and the Fairweather Range, or opt for calmer alternatives like Graves or Torch Bay. DAY 12 George Island Step ashore to discover a World War I–era cannon in this remote scenic spot, offering a final stretch of exploration before heading toward Juneau. DAY 13 Captain’s Choice/Wildlife Search Enjoy prime wildlife encounters, especially whale watching around the Inian Islands and Icy Strait, with the day’s plan guided by the best daily conditions.

DAY 1 Seward, Alaska Embarkation After your included transfer from Anchorage, board the vessel, attend a safety briefing, enjoy dinner, and set sail, taking mostly overnight crossings to maximize exploration time. DAY 2 Driftwood Bay State Marine Park Wake in Driftwood Bay for guided beach walks, muskeg meadow tours, optional Kayak 101, and opportunities to see whales and sea lions. DAY 3 Montague Island or Hinchinbrook Island Choose between Montague Island’s Zaikof Bay for possible brown bear sightings or Hinchinbrook Island for historic lighthouse views, with beachcombing, kayaking, and scenic coastal vistas. DAY 4 & 5 Kayak Island Explore this historically significant area (once home to the now-extinct Steller’s sea cow) by beachcombing near Pyramid Peak, taking possible skiff tours, and using alternate anchorages like the Martin Islands or Fox Island if weather requires. DAY 6 & 7 Icy Bay Cross overnight to Icy Bay for two days of glacier viewing (Malaspina and Guyot Glaciers) against Mount St. Elias, with ample opportunities for hiking, beachcombing, and marine-life observation.
