PUBLIC ART PROGRAMS ONGOING
VARIOUS LOCATIONS
To expand public art and establish and grow a world class public art program that serves all districts and neighborhoods, is the second goal of the Arts and Culture Master Plan, approved by the Costa Mesa City Council in March 2021. Funds for this program will contribute to a Public Art Fund to implement various public art projects, both temporary and permanent, around the City.

SUPPORTING SPONSOR- $25,000 Company/family name featured on permanent plaque in a feature (park seating/sidewalk/fence etc.) of potential sculpture garden project Company/family name featured in City publications and on the website

The City of Costa Mesa owns over 120 utility boxes throughout the city and is dedicated to incorporating art into public spaces. A Utility Box Art Program was launched in early 2015 to spotlight a handful of utility boxes as beautiful art pieces.
UTILITY BOX PUBLIC ART- $3,000 Company name/logo included on marketing, social media ads and on the City website Company name/logo included on the utility box itself as part of the design (no more than 20% of the total space)
