ON PAR WITH OUR PEOPLE EMPLOYEE HANBOOK Vacation All full-time employees are eligible for a paid vacation. Vacations with pay are granted to employees based upon length of continuous service. You begin accumulating vacation days when you start working with us. Full-time employees are eligible to use accumulated days after six (6) months of continuous employment. Due to the nature of our business, vacations are encouraged during the months of May to October of each year. All vacations must be submitted through the ONLINE ADP Portal and approved by your immediate supervisor at least two (2) weeks prior to the date requesting. Do not make vacation arrangements until you have received approval from your supervisor.

Full-time employees accumulate vacation at the following rate, depending upon your employment status:

AMBASSADOR IN TRAINING Our Ambassador in Training Program provides a one-of-a-kind opportunity for AIT’s to learn and expand their professional skills.

Jack Kornfield is a prominent American Buddhist teacher, author, and psychologist who played a key role in bringing mindfulness and vipassana meditation to the West. After serving in the Peace Corps in Thailand, he ordained as a monk under renowned Thai and Burmese masters, including Ajahn Chah and Mahasi Sayadaw. He later co- founded the Insight Meditation Society in Massachusetts and Spirit Rock Meditation Center in California—two leading centers for mindfulness practice in the U.S. With a Ph.D. in clinical psychology, Kornfield blends Buddhist teachings with Western psychology, making his work accessible and deeply impactful. His books, such as A Path with Heart and The Wise Heart, have inspired millions around the world.

“PETS” OF THE WEEK Meet Bambino Say hello to Bambino—the Dachshund of Steven Tofani from Take Out! Bambino is all about relaxation. He loves going to the beach and sunbathing. Erolin Alvarez, from the Dominican Republic, began her training in the Pavilion in September 2024. She recently completed her rotation in Accounting and is now training in the Purchasing Department.
