Thank you also to our fellow associations and staff who put in countless hours to ensure the gathering was a success. It's more important than ever to share a unified front for what we all care for the most — the future of Alaska — and we were able to accomplish that goal with your help. We're already planning for next year!
RDC staff, board members, together with 15 other Alaska organizations and more than 120 Alaskans trav- eled to Washington, D.C. on April 29-30 to attend the annual Alaska on the Hill event, celebrating "Alaska’s Resources & Industries — America’s Future.” The event was again an opportunity to share our story of why Alaska matters, and included industry briefings, a Congressional roundtable, visits to individ- ual offices on the Hill, meetings with the Department of Interior, and of course, a world-class Alaskan recep-
