The winner, Slate House, will continue to shine, but it was the runner-up, Summerville Boy, who impressed for trainer Tom George and owner Roger Brookhouse. He went on to lift the Tolworth at Sandown and the Sky Bet Supreme last March, and George plans to aim him towards the 2019 Unibet Champion Hurdle.
