BEST MATE ENCLOSURE This is the most affordable way to enjoy what the Festival has to offer and is tremendous value for money. The enclosure is positioned opposite the main grandstand, providing an excellent view of the racing and top-class betting facilities, bars and a variety of food choices. Arguably the best of its type at any British racecourse, it’s ideal for the novice racegoer eager to enjoy the atmosphere and keep an eye on the pennies. Please note, with this enclosure you have no access to the Final Flight bar, Pre-Parade and Parade Ring and Shopping Village. Food and drink The Best Mate Enclosure is packed with various mobile caterers serving a selection of food, from traditional fish and chips, burgers, and toasties, to hot and cold beverages. And to wash it all down, the bars are stocked with a full range of draught beers and ciders. Entertainment Party in The Pavilion, Best Mate Enclosure’s own live music venue. Bands and DJs will keep the tunes coming, and there are additional bars on tap so you can enjoy a drink while you dance. Tours commence from the time the gates open until before the first race. All tours start at the Best Mate statue in the Plaza at the bottom of the Paddock and are free of charge. The tour will also include a trip to the Weighing Room.
