Theatre@ When it comes to fusing fine dining at the heart of the on-course action, Theatre@, which opened its doors at the 2018 Festival, is the place to be. The Pan-Asian restaurant, believed to be the first of its kind at a British racecourse, is situated on the third floor of Cheltenham’s premium course-facing suites, offering unrivalled views of the final fences from its own private balcony. “We felt that people wanted their time at Cheltenham to be an incredible experience and something unique, that you wouldn’t get on any other racecourse,” said Lee Moulson, the Jockey Club South West’s regional head of sales. “Our vision was for a restaurant that’s a fine dining experience but set in an intimate atmosphere.” The restaurant’s bright, casual and comfortable décor makes it the perfect spot for a relaxed lunch with friends and family. And for those interested in something a little more private, for a special occasion or to entertain clients, there are also exclusive booths available to book. “The atmosphere is intimate, yet there’s plenty of space which is really quite special,” said Moulson.
