Find Your Next Star Employee

Ngina Baggett had just earned her associate’s degree in computer technology when she heard about IT-Ready. She knew that without practical, hands-onwork experience—not tomention the CompTIA A+ certification she could earn through IT-Ready—most tech employers wouldn’t give her resume a second glance.

So, Baggett quit her job, gave up the apartment where she lived with her infant daughter, and moved in with her sister — just so she could attend IT-Ready during its free, eight-week course.

Five years later, after certifying in CompTIA A+ and connecting with employers through IT-Ready, Baggett says the sacrifices she made then have more than

paid off. Now an IT coordinator for Cincinnati Public Schools, Baggett works in a high school where she supports staff, teachers and students with all their hardware and software needs, ranging from desktop to tablet to smart phone.

“That was one of the best opportunities I have ever had,” Baggett said of IT-Ready.

Since it began in 2012, IT-Ready has launched the tech careers of hundreds of underemployed and displaced workers. Our graduates are trained and motivated to work hard for the IT industry.

By hiring IT-Ready graduates, not only are youmaking smart hiring decisions, but also diversifying your tech workforce. We trainmotivated people with an aptitude for technology frommultiple underserved populations, especially women, people of color, and veterans.
