A self portrait opens the door to understanding ourselves and bringing it to life with a puppet opens up the possibilities of expression. What if Puppets can activate your girls’ sense of self as they design and build a puppet based on who they are on the inside. The experience culminates in opportunities for girls to bring their puppets to life, using their own words, and expressing themselves to their peers. Extend the experience by having your troop participate in a pre-show or post- show puppet making workshop that further explores themes and elements of the show.
