The end of March marks the beginning of spring, a departure from the icy cold of winter. Spring is about a fresh start, organization, spending more time in nature, and trying and learning new things. So let’s celebrate spring by participating in one of these events this month — there’s a little something for everyone to enjoy! UNION TERMINAL ROTUNDA TOURS March 1-31, 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Cincinnati Museum Center 1301 Western Ave. CincyMuseum.org/Heritage-Programs Do you want to learn more about Cincinnati’s most iconic National Historic Landmarks? This month is your time to take a 45-minute walking tour of Union Terminal — a 1933 train station. During your tour, a docent will explain the train station’s architecture, construction, and art. The Union Terminal is an excellent representation of the Art Deco style. Now is your chance to
learn more about the mosaic murals and other fun facts about the terminal. These tours are happening all month long but are on a first- come, first-served basis. Celebrate the first day of spring by taking a lovely walk through the Glenwood Gardens. While the Cotswold Visitor Centre and Highfield Discovery Garden close on
your group walk through Long Branch Farms, you will learn identification tips and techniques, prepare wild plants, and even taste some of the items you forage. Seasoned veterans and beginners to foraging are welcomed to this event. Please be sure to register online to reserve a spot.
