The Golf and Greens Committee and the Board of Governors (“Board”) have recognized several ongoing issues concerning our golf course that are rapidly requiring attention. In February, we hired David Druzisky as our Golf Course Architect to evaluate our needs and create a plan for addressing them. The Master Plan he created for Seven Oaks is comprehensive in its scope, but would be quite expensive to execute, if we were to address the plan in its entirety. The Board has determined this plan to serve as a template for the future of the golf course. There are however, certain areas that need to be addressed in the coming years, while other modifications can be delayed for several years. Specifically, the Board has decided to begin a three-year project to remodel and improve the Greens Complexes (Greens and Green-side Bunkers) for all 27 holes, beginning with the Oaks 9 in the second half of 2018. Remodeling the greens complexes will involve replacing and reseeding the greens surfaces with new bent grass, re-contouring the bunkers and replacing with new sand, and re-positioning the irrigation around each green to provide better coverage and create proper drainage. To proceed forward, the Greens project will need the approval of our Membership. The Board would like to begin discussions for the future of our course with mem- bers at a Town Hall Meeting on Thursday October 26 th :
