THE KING'S BU SIN ESS

934 ing the Gospel. We are planning, with the help of God, to make a special ef– fort to reach the children during these summer afternoons, and we want your prayers that we may be able to sow the precious seed in many a little heart. A little fellow about eight years of age came to the worker one Sunday and said, "I have something for you today" and then pulled out his Catholic catechism, saying, "Here, take it. I don't want it any more because I'm not going to that church again." Who knows but what God has laid His hand upon this child and some day will use him to lead others to the Lamb of God which taketh away the sin of the world. Our volunteer workers teach them hymns and Scripture verses and they truly enjoy it. Someone may ask me as to where the children meet. Well, some times they gather in the backyard under a shade tree and other times they sit on the steps of the house, and if it is cold or rainy, someone will open their home. In these little children's meetings, oftentimes the mother will come along to hear the singing and teaching and thus the seed is sown beside all waters. Working With Groups Our hearts were made happy as we gave the message to a group of six men who listened very attentively. As we pointed out the danger of delay, we r ejoiced to see the whole group make a decision to accept the Lord Jesus Christ then and there. We then asked each one to pray and thank God, and

all seemed very happy in their decision They asked for Bibles and two of the~ bought Bibles. We have been able to follow up these men and they are prov– ing steadfast and loyal. Two of the group have since returned to Mexico taking the Word of God with them. i wish the dear readers of the King's Business would pray especially for these converts as they return to their native land, that God may give them courage and make them bright and shining lights. Our hearts are greatly encouraged with the different Bible classes we have among the converts, both for their tes– timony and the interest they have in seeking to win others to Christ. Sev– eral of the believers have been the means of winning others, and the en– thusiasm of our Men's Bible class still continues. As we said in a former ar– ticle, they are seeking to raise funds to buy an auto for Gospel work. Truly some of the converts have responded nobly. One young man, before return– ing to Mexico, placed a five dollar bill in our hands. Another believer who lives in Clovis sent five dollars, and some are contributing one dollar a week. Another young man gave us twenty dollars. Some of the converts in other groups are also contributing. We are looking to the Lord to meet this need in order that we may be able to reach many Mexican Camps and Col· onies during the summer months. We also ask an interest in your prayers to this end, and we know that if it is His will He will provide. "To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood-be glory and dominion forever."
