As Jesus showed His wounds to Thomas to convince him, so some day He will show them to Israel to con– vince them. That sight will bring bit– ter remorse and mourning. Heed well the words of Jesus, "Blessed are they that have not seen, yet have believed." Blessed is that faith that rises above all temptations and doubts of Satan, and trusts the Lord Jesus Christ always and everywhere. ill. The Confession of Thomas. Full, hearty, unreserved. "My Lord and my God." Jesus convinced Thomas and then rebuked him. Too many are like Thomas, refusing to believe the word of God and rely on His care even where sight is Jacking to prove His presence. He rebukes such today as of old. To receive and believe the Word of God is not of nature but the gift of grace. The vital act of faith in Thomas as well as in all believers. "My Lord and my God." The great purpose in recording this experience of Thomas, as well as of all that went before was to convince the readers that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing they might have life in His name. & • THE JUNIORS THOMAS CONFESSES CHRIST'S DEITY John 20:24-31 Review: On what day of the week did Jesus rise from the grave?
