What I did: I assist in community marketing efforts that increase engagement with the upcoming Festival, including flyer and sponsor packet distribution, and social media content. In addition, I assist in event planning, support, and artist/ volunteer coordination, which involves managing event logistics, artist contact information and booth locations, and an art raffle awarding 50+ prizes. What I liked: The group I worked with was tight-knit and very relaxed in terms of pacing. The work itself was not foreign to me, despite not having much prior knowledge about arts. Future Dream Job: Sports marketing for running brand.
