BACHELOR OF ARTS IN THEATRE
Dean’s Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Theatre degree encompasses performance, theatre studies, and production and design. The balance of practice and theory provides a holistic education in the art and study of theatre, helping students identify and grow their unique artistic identity and path. Our goal is to help you succeed in a career where you can utilize your skills to create and produce work in various ways. Our faculty offers diverse perspectives and fosters a tight-knit, collaborative community in which you’ll thrive. During your time as a Theatre major at Dean, you will have the opportunity to participate in our First-Year Theatre Showcase, Main Stage musicals and plays, as well as our Senior Showcase. Students can also join a variety of faculty, guest artists, and student-directed stage productions. With a major in Theatre from Dean, you will have the hands-on experience and educational foundation to make your mark on the theatre world.
