We invite you to visit Dean to learn about our exciting academic options, residence life, student clubs, organizations and athletic teams. Attend one of our Dance and Theatre Open House Days to tour campus, meet with faculty, and participate in classes. We offer campus tours Monday through Friday. Following your tour, you will have an opportunity to speak one-on-one with an admissions counselor. Saturday visit days are also available. To schedule a visit online, go to dean.edu/visit or call our Office of Admissions at 877-TRY-DEAN or 508-541-1508 . NEXT STEPS SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION. Our application is free, and we accept both our own Dean College application and the Common Application. Go to dean.edu/apply for all the details. Admission to our Schools of Performing Arts is based upon our review of your admissions application and supporting materials. An audition or portfolio review is also required. You will be considered for several merit-based scholarships based on your academic achievement, audition or portfolio review. There is no additional application required for scholarship consideration. For more information, visit our website at dean.edu/financialaid . APPLY FOR FINANCIAL AID. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) will give you access to need-based financial aid. Complete the FAFSA at fafsa.gov and enter school code 002144 for Dean College. AUDITIONS An audition is required for admission to the dance and theatre (Acting, Musical Theatre and Performance) programs. Production and Design and General Theatre students should contact the Schools of Performing Arts at 508-541-1606 for information about required portfolio materials.
