You m ust be definitely con scious th a t th e Word of God is designed to meet the need of men, and fam iliarize yourself with, some of the Scriptures applicable to this class of the unsaved. (Heb. 4 :12) “F o r th e w o r d o f G od is tin ie k and p o w e r fu l, a n d sh a r p e r th a n a n y tw o - e d g e d sw o r d , p ie r c in g e v e n to th e d iv id in g a su n d e r o f s o u l a n d sp ir it, a n d o f th e jo in ts a n d m a r r o w , a n d is a d isc er n e r o f th e th o u g h ts a n d in te n ts o f th e h e a r t.” The Holy Spirit is th e Author of the Bible, and they were intended for this very purpose— th e saving and sancti fying of th e soul (John 16:8-11) “A n d w h e n h e Is com e» h e w ill r ep ro v e th e w o r ld o f sin , o f r ig h te o u s n e s s and o f ju d g m e n t. Do th is in a kindly way. Say, for instance: “You know th a t we are all sinners. We all have a sinful n atu re .” If th ere is any hesitation in th eir reply, ask, “Have you ever told one lie?” They will, of course, adm it th a t they have done so, and then you can say, “A lie is a violation of God’s law” (1 John 3 :4 ) “W h o so e v e r c o m m itte th sin , tr a n s - g r e s s e t h th e la w ; fo r s in is th e tr a n s g r e s s io n o f th e la w .” (Jam es 2:10) “F o r w h o s o e v e r s h a ll k e e p th e w h o le la w , a n d y e t o ife n d in o n e p o in t, h e is g u ilt y o f a ll.” Violation of God’s law demands punishm ent. winner. No exception to th is is sug gested in the Bible. The methods used may be different, and opportunities vary, butTrJremember— if you have accepted Christ as your own personal Saviour, you are thereby obligated to seek to save th e lost. Accept the fact so clearly made manifest in the Bible and yield your h ea rt to Him, for the Holy Spirit will unfailingly guide you when the will is yielded. The larg est class among unsaved people are the indifferent. This is by reason of the condition of th e tim es in which we- live,— such a busy, pushing life, and so many demands upon one’s tim e; school, play, work, the auto, the radio, th e movies, the sports, the dance, the card table,® -that not much tim e is le ft for people to th ink ser iously of eternal things. Then, too, th e increasing num ber of “ cults,” the continuous propaganda of vagaries of all kinds, the change of a ttitu d e upon the p art of th e pulpit concerning vital tru th s, has greatly increased' th e num ber of the “ indifferent,” and th e need for definite, personal work w ith this class is, therefore, th e g reater. In order to do effective work w ith them it is necessary, : F irst,— you must be deeply con victed yourself th a t men are by natu re the children of w rath (Eph. 2:3) “A n d w e r e b y n a tu r e th e c h ild re n o f w r a th , e v e n a s o th e r s.” No m a tte r what th e ir culture, th eir standing in business or in society may be, th ere is no exception (Rom. 3:23) “F o r a ll h a v e sin n e d a n d c o m e sh o r t o f th e g lo r y o f G od.” (Rom. 3:10) “T h e re is n o n e rig h teo u s» no» n o t o n e.” Second,— to have a deep concern for th e ir’ souls. . Every boy and girl, every man and woman, should have an appeal- to th e Christian. How sad for saved people, on the way to glory, to be careless about th e ir fellows who are on their way to hell! Should not

The personal worker should always bear in mind the tru th set fo rth in previous lessons (which we expect to constantly reiter ate and em phasize), th a t it is the busi ness of every C hristian to be a soul-
