7S lew Public Library Building LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA r HERE is now being erected on the property immediately adjoining the Bible Institute of Los Angeles, an attractive edifice in which will be housed the extensive collection of books, consisting of over two million volumes, of the Los Angeles Public Library. The commodious, conveniently'planned structure will be in the Spanish style of architecture, which has found such universal expression in buildings of every character in California’s sunny southland. It will be constructed of reinforced concrete, with
stucco finish and s to n e trimm ing s , and its nine stories and basement will find a suitable setting in the extensive grounds surrounding, w h ich are sus' ceptible of elaborate landscape: treat' tnent.
