Message from Bronwyn Hello Wallsend Manor community,
Welcome to the autumn edition of our newsletter. With the cooler autumn weather, the residents have been enjoying the sunshine in the courtyard and outside balconies.
Our 4 weekly BBQs have been a success with many residents and their families enjoying the variety of barbequed meat and salads. We are now preparing to put on the winter woollies and enjoy the indoor activities that lifestyle has planned. This November the Government is releasing a revised Aged Care Act and a revised set of Aged Care Standards. You will notice information on the Act and Standards on the resident’s notice boards in each of our wings. I will also keep you updated at our monthly residents’ meetings. I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the hardship that many families are facing in our community that have been affected by the local floods, you are in our thoughts. You will notice that we are now are now bringing you this newsletter seasonally in a digital interactive format.
