Autumn Highlights
May brought moments of deep connection and celebration. We were honoured to host Ike , a 14-month-old guide dog in training, and his trainer Lindy for International Guide Dog Day . Ike’s visit was filled with cuddles, tail wags, and smiles all around. International Nurses Day gave us the chance to recognise the incredible dedication of our nursing team—thank you for all you do! There were touching moments too, like Jill’s emotional reunion with her new family member, Kate . And of course, our Biggest Morning Tea brought the community together for a great cause, with live music and heartfelt conversations. We wrapped up the season with a Rock and Roll Day and a visit from the Newcastle Vintage Car Club . At Wallsend Manor, every season is a celebration of life, love, and community. Autumn 2025 was no exception—thank you to our residents, families, and staff for making it so memorable. We can’t wait to see what winter brings!
