UWC schools and colleges are anchored by a global mission and buoyed by individuals who believe deeply in education as a force for peace and sustainability. At UWC Thailand, this belief is lived out through our three-board governance structure—comprised entirely of volunteers—who give generously of their time, talent, and treasure. From the start, our school has been shaped by the vision and philanthropy of our founder, Klaus Hebben. His humble generosity and deep commitment to holistic education laid the foundation for what UWC Thailand would become. His spirit of giving continues through the Klaus Hebben Scholarship Programme and his active role on the Education for a Sustainable Future (ESF) board. That same spirit guides all of our board members. Whether offering strategic counsel, sharing professional expertise, or standing by the school during pivotal moments, each governor brings not only skill but heart. Their work is voluntary, their motivation grounded in service, and their impact far-reaching. Philanthropy at UWC Thailand has never been limited to financial giving alone—it’s about showing up, stepping in, and shaping the future. We are grateful to our governors for offering all three: their time, their talent, and their treasure. Their leadership helps steer the school with clarity and compassion, ensuring we remain steady at the helm in all seasons.
