School Board Committees at UWC Thailand
Governance and Nominations Committee (GovCom) GovCom advises on governance structure, compliance, and leadership development across the School Board, the ESF Foundation, and the Banyapura Board. It supports the recruitment and training of Board and Committee members. Compliance and Risk Committee (CoRe) (new in 2025) CoRe works to embed a culture of compliance and risk awareness throughout the school. It partners with school leadership to manage risk and maintain best practices in governance.
Steering Committee (SteerCom)
Finance Committee (FinCom)
The Steering Committee sets the Board meeting agendas, oversees Board development, and conducts the appraisal and evaluation of the Head of School. It also holds limited authority to make decisions on behalf of the Board when necessary.
FinCom ensures the ongoing financial health of the school by advising on budgeting, financial planning, and risk mitigation. It plays a critical role in aligning school finances with strategic priorities.
