UWC THAILAND
The UWC Thailand School Board is supported by eight standing Committees. Each Committee includes a representative from the Board, usually acting as Chair, and some include members of the wider community or staff. Together, these Committees provide essential support and oversight, guiding strategic decisions and ensuring the school remains aligned with its mission and values.
Outreach and Advancement Committee (OAC) (new in 2024) OAC supports the school’s strategic outreach by fostering engagement and building partnerships. It helps expand UWC Thailand’s influence locally
Boarding Advisory Committee (BAC) (new in 2024) BAC offers strategic guidance for the school’s boarding programme, a core element of the UWC experience. It ensures high standards in student life and residential well-being.
Staff Wellbeing Committee (new in 2025) This committee promotes the physical, mental, and professional well-being of all school staff. It monitors and advises on practices that impact staff welfare and work-life balance.
Student Wellbeing Committee (new in 2025) The Student Wellbeing Committee ensures that structures and systems at the school support the emotional, social, and academic needs of students. It upholds UWC Thailand’s duty of care responsibilities and values.
