STEADY AT THE HELM

UWC THAILAND

A Cross-School Perspective I’m fortunate to have spent a year working within the organisation, learning systems and developing relationships across all sections of the school. The buddies programme has built some lovely bonds between the oldest and youngest students, and as UWC Thailand continues to grow, we will explore more ways to build connections between primary and secondary. Our DP student leaders, in particular, are wonderful advocates for younger students and enjoy opportunities to connect with those who share a language or interest, be it cultural or athletic. In my new role, I’ll work closely with teams supporting both primary and secondary schools, including community engagement, learning support, sports, and the library. I’m also looking forward to collaborating with leaders from other UWC schools on shared goals. Looking Ahead I’m committed to keeping students at the centre of everything we do. The arrival of our new Head of School presents an exciting opportunity to implement strategic initiatives that enhance our programmes while preserving the unique character that makes UWC Thailand exceptional. I look forward to being part of this next chapter, continuing our journey of making education a force for peace and a sustainable future.
