UWC THAILAND
STEADY AT THE HELM
How a Bold Dream Became a Movement in Motion
“ Being in the founding cohort taught me what it means to co – create a school culture. We had no ‘ this is how we ’ ve always done it, ’ and that taught me to lead with intention. ” Joining the UWC movement in 2016 marked a turning point, reinforcing our mission to cultivate socially responsible changemakers. Since then, UWC Thailand has continued to integrate service learning, environmental stewardship, and social justice into its curriculum. Our transformation from PIA to UWC Thailand is a story of vision, resilience, and community-driven progress. From its modest beginnings, the school expanded in both scope and ambition. The introduction of boarding facilities in 2014 was a pivotal moment, drawing students from across the world and fostering an environment of cross-cultural exchange. This diversity brought new energy to the campus, strengthening our commitment to global education.
